Sean Penn directs this unforgettably true story about a top student and athlete who abandons his possessions and hitchhikes to Alaska to live in the wilderness, 'the real existence' as he defines it. Along his 20 month trek through America, he encounters a variety of characters that share with him a mix of wisdom, survival knowledge, humour and love.
Penn, with cinematographer Eric Gautier, vividly capture the majesty and terror of the wilderness.

U.S.A., 148 minutes, English/Danish language.
Rated PG with nudity, coarse language, violence and sexually suggestive scene.

Ethan and Joel Coen share writing and directing credits in this literate meditation on America's bloodlust for the easy fix.
Violence and mayhem ensues after a hunter stumbles upon some dead bodies, a stash of heroine and more than $2 million in cash. Tommy Lee Jones stars as the sheriff and and Golden Globe Best Supporting Actor winner, Javier Bardem, is exceptional as the sociopath hit man.
An interesting tale, exceptionally told.

U.S.A., 121 minutes, English/Spanish language.
Rated 14A with violence.

In this biographical film about legendary singer/songwriter Bob Dylan, Director Todd Haynes uses six actors to embody a different aspect of the musician's life and work. Cate Blanchett is superb as the skinny, androgynous Dylan during his electric years. Heath Ledger and Richard Gere also star.
Chasing Dylan's shape shifting shadows is an unmissable movie event.

U.S.A./Germany, 135 minutes, English language.
