USA 2017, 88 min., documentary/biography
Director:  Alexandra Dean
Trailer: Bombshell

Synopsis: Few people probably remember Hedy Lamarr, although back in the day she was every bit as beautiful and talented as Elizabeth Taylor. But she had one additional asset, she was brilliant. At the beginning of WWII she co-invented a radio guidance system which would eventually play a role in future bluetooth and wifi technologies.

Heard through recently discovered audio tapes, Lamarr comes across a determined feminist who did nothing by half, whether it was escaping Nazi repression or tasking Howard Hughes’ engineers.
